Produced by Marta Licida Vasquez Melgar from San Jose Del Pito farm in the Lempira region of Hondorus, this is a bag of beans with a beautiful story. 

With encouragment from a producer friend, Marta bought her first plot of land in San Sebastián in 1987. Over the years she has continued to aquire more lands, little by little, allowing her to focus on producing coffee for a living. Following a difficult relationship with school, from a young age Marta found herself helping out her farmer parents and preparing candies, traditional sweets and sewing. The eldest of 14 siblings, Marta strives to protect the enviroment that provides her the opportunity to produce coffee. 

Flavours of blackberry, honey and chocolate come through in this washed mixed variety.
