These three black teas were chosen with the afternoon tea table in mind.  Each has a unique character representative of the region they are grown: Assam, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and the high-mountains of Darjeeling.   

Assam 'Mokalbari': Not as malty as a typical Assam tea, but its clarity of flavour makes it a good accompaniment to light tea sandwiches such as cucumber or smoked salmon, crusts optional.  

Ceylon 'Monestary': An earthy, robust leaf that gives great depth of flavour.  Lovely paired with heavier, chocolate based sweets.

Darjeeling 'Lingia':  A classic 1st flush from India's most famed tea region.  Light, floral and a great tea to pair with afternoon sweet treats.
